Join us for EO San Antonio’s Fourth Annual Legacy Luncheon, honoring Doug Harrison, Co-Founder, President & CEO of The SCOOTER Store.
Mr. Harrison grew The SCOOTER Store from profitability in 1998 into a national organization with 72 locations across 42 states, 3,500 employee-owners, and nearly $1 billion in annual revenue. Along the way, the company earned repeated Inc. 500 recognition, induction into the Inc. 500 Hall of Fame, and two appearances on Fortune Magazine’s Best Places to Work list.
In this candid fireside conversation, Mr. Harrison will share lessons from extraordinary growth, building a mission-driven culture, navigating a decade of legal battles with Medicare and the Department of Justice, and rebuilding his identity after The SCOOTER Store closed in 2013. The culture he helped create still lives on today, with more than 1,300 former employee-owners remaining connected through The Heart of The SCOOTER Store community.
A longtime EO and YPO member, Forum participant, mentor, and coach, Mr. Harrison continues to support entrepreneurs navigating hypergrowth, liquidity events, and major exits while investing deeply in his family and New Braunfels community.
This is a conversation about scale, culture, adversity, reinvention, and the legacy we leave behind.
Reserve your seat for an afternoon of reflection, connection, and entrepreneurial perspective.
