Have you ever felt overwhelmed with all the books and resources available about leadership and management, wondering where to even start? Have you ever asked yourself how do I get my people to be more accountable? Do you wish there was a simplified approach that gets to the root of what makes great leaders and great managers?

In this session, Mary Reilly-Magee will:

  • Show you a simple and tangible approach to leadership and management.

  • Give you five practices of great leaders and great managers.

  • Help you understand how to hold your people accountable.

  • Give you the opportunity to self-assess your leadership and management skills from the perspective of your direct reports.

You will leave the session clear and committed about what you need to work on over the next 3-6 months to create focus, discipline, and accountability for your people, and you will have a template for growing and guiding the future leaders and managers in your organization with this simple EOS tool.

About Mary Reilly-Magee

Bio:

As an entrepreneurial kid, Mary took advantage of a multitude of opportunities to “do business” with people. The funniest one was selling pictures of Charlie’s Angels to the boys in her fourth-grade class. Mary grew up to be a 10th grade English teacher and high school swimming and water polo coach. But the entrepreneurial bug was in her, and she found herself building a learn to swim business from scratch, growing it to three year-round, indoor, stand-alone locations employing about 100 people at its peak. Mary sold that business in 2018.

In 2019, she committed to becoming an EOS Implementer so that she could help smart, challenged, growth-oriented companies install the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) into their businesses. Mary joined EO in 2012 while running her learn to swim business. She is a proud EO San Antonio member and has served the organization as a learning chair (2020 – 2022) and as a President (2022 - 2023). She cherishes the friendships and business contacts she has made through EO, many of whom have become EOS clients. She has a huge heart for entrepreneurial business owners and loves to see them succeed.
