Bio: San Antonio native, Richard Peacock Jr., began his career in his family’s real estate business before making a bold pivot to hospitality. In 1997, he opened Paloma Blanca Mexican Cuisine in Alamo Heights, a restaurant that quickly became his true calling. Twenty years later, he expanded with the purchase of Chris Madrid’s, where he’s committed to carrying on the restaurant’s rich traditions and deep community ties.
As president of DUO Restaurant Group, Peacock leads with the mission of “loving on people through what we do,” seeing hospitality as a way to build connection, not just serve food. He is also deeply invested in his hometown, supporting organizations like South Texas Alliance for Orphans, AVANCE, and The Children’s Shelter.
